Akhshav is a survey exhibition of contemporary Israeli painters Nivi Alroy, Shai Azoulay, Noa Charuvi, Maya Israel, Meital Katz-Minerbo, Alon Kedem and Elad Kopler.
Today, in an Israel where new media, installation and performance artists occupy center stage, a group of intrepid young pioneers have taken up the brush, determined to reinvent this most ancient and hallowed art form and perhaps themselves and their subjects along with it.
Presented by Stein Rose Fine Art. Akhshav runs April 23 through May 3 at a pop up location [508 West 26th Street 9th Floor] and features select artist programming.
Stein Rose Fine Art is a midtown Fine Art gallery founded by Uri Rosenbach and Julianne Steindler.
